A Walkabout Tour

Our Pastures

Walkabout has approximately 30 acres in pasture,
providing excellent natural forage for our horses.
Some pastures are bermuda, some are mostly fescue.

Our Fencing

Our fences are 4-strand electro-braid - humane and forgiving, but
very effective in keeping our horses safe, sound, and controlled.

Our Trails

We've got miles of trails - through open pastures, along our 2-acre pond, through beautiful hardwood forests, and down along Middle Creek.
Some are very clear and easy, some are more challenging.
All provide all you need for a great day on a horse.

Our Riding Ring
(Picture coming)

Our lighted, 240' by 120' riding ring provides the space needed to school your horse. Footing is sound and level. Poles, etc. are available.

Our Stalls
(Picture coming)

Our 12' by 12' stalls are bedded with hardwood shavings, have individual
waterers, and lots of ventilation. Stalls are cleaned daily.
We've also got a washpit, indoor toilet, and tackroom with individual
cubbies for each boarder.

Our Staff
(Picture coming)

Saving the best for last, our staff is our source of pride, committed to providing excellent and intelligent daily care for our horses and always performing the
never-ending field and fence maintenance work with a happy attitude.
